Bodhgaya, India – Mission Trip 11/1–11/7/2025

What an incredible week it has been. Our Sakya Care Foundation team just completed a medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy mission serving over 5,400 patients in Bodhgaya — one of the poorest regions in India.
In the dental clinic, we treated over 2,400 patients with cleanings, fillings, and extractions. It was a true team effort — 2 U.S. dentists, 15 Indian dentists, 2 U.S. hygienists, and over 20 dental volunteers worked tirelessly from dawn to dusk for six days straight. In total, 26 U.S. volunteers and more than 100 Indian volunteers came together, along with countless supporters behind the scenes, to make this mission possible.
No words can fully describe the dedication, compassion, and commitment shown by every volunteer. No “thank you” feels big enough. Each night we ended the day exhausted in body but recharged in spirit, knowing that tomorrow we’d be helping even more people.
I wrote the lyrics inspired by this journey — “Come With Me and You’ll See Why…” It’s a message to my daughter, so she can see what her mom and dad are doing and, hopefully one day, be inspired to help others less fortunate.
Thank you, Sakya Care Foundation, for giving us this opportunity to serve and to bring smiles — not just to those we treated, but to all of us who were lucky enough to serve.

Donated to Doctors Without Borders!
YES! We are so happy to raised more than 3 times our goal. Thank you to our patients and all the volunteers!
We are excited to share our recent charitable initiative aimed at helping the victims of the Turkey and Syria earthquakes. It was an incredible day where we had the opportunity to come together as a team and put our skills to good use. We had a total of four dentists: Dr. Ke Huang, Dr. Huy Doan, Dr. Kevin Doan, and Dr.Tran; hygienists Minh, Uyen, and Trang; assistants and volunteers: Kim, Daisy, Jennifer, Long, Liam, Calvin, Thy, Anna, Quang, Huynh, and Victoria all working hard. We also had Phong Le, Tin Phan, Van and Quynh Nguyen donated to the cause!
Together, we saw 31 patients. It was heartwarming to be able to see that many patients.
No words to express our sincere gratitude. Our team’s dedication and commitment to this cause are a true testament to our values at Hue Dental.

5th Annual Community Day was a success! Thank you everyone who helped sponsored us, supported us, and volunteered with us for the big day. Special Thanks to our office manager, Linh Nguyen, for organizing the event for us! Thank you to our volunteers who took their time out on a weekend to help our community. Thank you to our sponsors: Patterson, Oral-B, Sonicare, Hiossen, Char’d, and Mantra Leaf (Linh T. Pham) for breakfast, lunch, drinks, goodie bags, and T- shirts! The event went smoothly despite the rain and we were able to treat 40 patients. We couldn’t have done this without everyone’s support, especially after taking a long break due to Covid-19. We hope to see everyone again next year!
Free Dental Care Day – October 12, 2025
This past weekend, our team came together with one shared purpose — to give back to our community through the gift of smiles.
With 12 volunteers, 4 hygienists, and 4 dentists, we were able to provide free dental care to 80 patients, totaling over $32,000 worth of services — all in one meaningful day.
A huge thank you to our amazing doctors — Dr. Truc Le, Dr. Huy Doan, Dr. Nicole Dang, and Dr. Nghi Tran — as well as to our dedicated hygienists and general volunteers who came early, stayed late, and gave their hearts to make this event possible. And lastly,
a big thank you to our sponsors: The Red First, Hiossen, Colgate, and Fengcha Allen for making the day possible!
The day went smoothly, filled with gratitude, teamwork, and happy smiles. Every patient left with not only healthier teeth but also a reminder that compassion still shines bright in our world.

To everyone — thank you for reminding us that happiness truly arises from giving.
We feel blessed to have received so many smiles that day — and even more blessed to be part of such a caring community.
